This Arcam A25 Amplifier is at the number 2 position in the October 2024 issue (page 86) AND yet again in the April 2025 issue (page 90✅✅) of Stereophile Magazine under the (A) Top Tier of Recommended Components of 2024 with 3 $$$ after the $1, 499.00 price tag meaning it performs way way above it’s price point in sound quality ..It sure does! It’s DAC is fantastic and will be heard in a future video.. The Bass this machine puts out is astounding.. Pure punch👍 I tried it with 3 different speakers so far.. I have a nearly identical setup (at least source and amp😊): Wiim Ultra > SMSL PO100 PRO > RME ADI-2 FS > Arcam A25 > Fyne Audio F 500 SP using Wiim as just a streamer via external DAC. For some time, it was difficult to get the speakers work properly with the amplifier: it seemed like the speakers had screaming midrange frequencies. Proper placement of the speakers solved the issue. Using RME as external DAC and preamp, the Arcam sounds just amazing. The built-in DAC definitely sounds less refined to my ears. But the Arcam as an amplifier really impressed me.

What's your opinion on the Arcam sa30? Im wanting to buyit and use wiim mini for HD streams? Would that combo sound good?
