The Camry uses a time-tested recipe for mass-market success.

Cliff once drove a Toyota Camry from Tennessee to Connecticut--suffice to say, he's familiar with this car. The 2022 Toyota Camry doesn't re-write the book, but it employs the sort of powertrain, suspension, and technology that meets the needs of most drivers. Watch our full test drive review to see why this midsize sedan remains so popular.

Yeah ! cars with turbos usually deliver more power and torque, but run hotter and are more prong to elevated repair cost, which defeats the purpose of owning a reliable and economical vehicle.

My 2017 XLE bought off the Show room floor has been absolutely flawless with 140, 050 miles as of today. I get 37 mpg, often 32 worst if I speed 85 or more for long time. Looks great inside and out seats have been in excellent condition front and rear. I'm still on my original brakes and absolutely 0 parts have been fixed or replaced. Kudos Toyota just hope my new 2022 4 runner does half as well

The Camry is 10 years older than me and one of the most reliable cars on the World and in the top five mid-size sedans that I like

Bank of Toyota. Awesome resale and reliability. I take a Camry Hybrid for the fuel efficiency

Spot on review. I love renting Camry though I don't own one. I am never uncomfortable in one after a long drive. Toyota does a great job with their ergonomics (seating). I don't need a V6 engine and would rather have the economy. I can understand why one would want one though if they are in mountainous areas.

I will tell you something I don't buy brand new cars in general anyway. but I owned 2007 Toyota Camry XLE V6 .. and I was planning on changing brands ..I couldn't when I do the Relibitly research I find my self always returning back to Toyota .. as of right now I own 2012 Toyota Venza XLE V6 AWD .. so happy with it honestly. once you get used to Toyota Relibitly. is very hard to take a chance with any other brands really !!

My body feels like it’s more broken down over the years than the Camry.

Not a fan of the "AfterThought" screen. I have a 2018 Camry and like the way the Screen is built into the dashboard. Just test drove the new Accord. I didn't like 1.5 I felt it was a little slow, and the 2.0t was trying to hard to hunt for gears. I like the interior styling of the New Accord, but I think l'm going back to another Camry.

You don't buy a Camry to race people. You buy it because you know it's going to last 4ever and never give you problems. BOTTOM LINE-

Great review Cliff! I've read a lot of complaints about the 8 speed automatic transmission in the Camry. That it's indecisive at lower speeds, gear hunts a lot, and jerky. Is that true from your experience?

Camry has no turbo no cvt. Reliability. Are people going to notice a .4 0-60 difference with an accord….probbaly not. To get satelite radio in accord you need the top trim.

The apostrophe on '22 is going the wrong way. Should be pointing out noting the missing 20. Hit the key twice for the closing single quote and delete the first single quote.

I just came from watching the Lexus ES 350 review and the gulf in class is astonishing. The Lexus ES 350 is miles better. Lexus ES 350 or nothing.

If it comes to UK in estate (station wagon) format, that’d be great and it could even challenge the Skoda Superb! But as a sedan (saloon)? No, it’ll never be a big seller in Britain… shame, cus it’s basically a sound car!
