Have been enjoying running in this shoes, no issues. Softer midsole feeling to the Carbon x. Will be using the rocket x for longer runs. Thanks for the awesome review once again!

For me its been a decent shoe so far, haven't experienced anything major to complain about. Performance-wise I find it very close to the Next% being a £100 cheaper

Picked a pair off these up for 89 pounds cant wait to try them out, ive the x'2s as my race shoe so im hoping the rocket x can be used as a fast daily shoe

I've not had an issue with wear on my Hoka shoes either. The last 2 pairs of Clifton's (6 & 7) have been great. My Rincon 2's have only done just over 100km but they still look pristine!

This one has quickly become my go to shoe for faster workouts. Its really quick! Very light and absolutely more room in it than other hokas. The speed is close to this one but I think the rocket has more of a pop to it.

Sizing seems weird with Hoka. I’m a Uk 12, but they seem to only have 11.5 or 12.5… which should I go for? I take a 12 for Nike peg 38, 12.5 for adidas Adios 6 and a 11.5 for Saucony endorphin speed 2.

Any ideas would be great, as I am after a carbon plated shoe but can’t run to Vapor or alpha fly money yet!

Definitely something to that foot landing sensation. I had the same issue with the carbon x and Clifton 7s. It's not a huge deal but its definitely there. Maybe it has something to do with the meta rocker?

I usually wear hoka rincon2 size 44 2/3. for hoka rocket X, do i have to upsize?

I'm just trying to make up my mind now on whether to go the endorphin speeds or the rocket x. Can't seem to get hold of the endorphin Pro in Australia at the moment.

Hi Fordy, talking Hoka shoes what do you think about Endorphin Speed vs Rincon in terms of cushion/stiffness/ground feel? I have a bit of PF right now and using Triumph for easy miles instead of Ride 13 due to the comfort and cushioning it gives. While Endorphin Speed makes PF worse. Also been thinking about X2 but it's not out yet :)
