@zippy476 I'm a STATE grad and I agree with you. We didn't beat anyone in the division with a winning record (which was only one team, who is sinking hard & fast known as "Ole but you forgot we played in the best division & conference in the world. Finishing 5th place in the SECwest, gets you ranked in the TOP15 nationally.
1. Auburn, 8. LSU, 10. Alabama, 12. Arkansas (Sugar/BCS Bowl), 15. Mississippi State. If we played in the SECeast, we would have went undefeated & in a BCS game.

Yes, historically Michigan has had great success against the sec in bowl games. However, the sec has really come into its own over the past 15 years, but I remember the Michigan of old. Ms. State also had a good run in the nineties, (although no one remembers) particularly on defense. The current defensive front doesn't compare to those days! You mentioned Arkansas but they have not been an sec power until recently. But with the exception of 2007, 2001-2009 has sucked for MSU.

@zippy476 As a Mich. fan I can congratulate the Bulldogs on a dominant performance. The SEC is better than every other conference, hands down and it showed on this day, but the insults aren't necessary. Michigan got rid of that Big East coach, and will get back to REAL Michigan football. The Spread and everything else is now gone and we hope to see you all in a BCS bowl game, 1 day.

One reason that you keep hearing Dan Mullen's name is because the sports media hates MSU. They want the big boys to stay on top and want CDM gone from MSU! In their mind, he is supposed to be at a big name school because they know he's good. Recently, DM agents were approached by a school with a big football history. He was not interested. He wants to be at MSU until he feels he has done all he can! He will enter his 3rd season at State with a very nice, new contract. Its not all about money!

OK, to all Michigan fans trolling this vid: We know we don't have a record that measures up to yours. We know you have the most wins of any program. Stop telling us because you're wasting your time! The cold truth about sports is that all that matters is the most recent outcome. Stop trying to one-up us because as of late, we are the better football team. We weren't even supposed to be in the gator bowl anyway. And we did have a good season because look at the only teams we lost to.

I think Mississippi State can get there with Dan Mullen, esp if he can win the recruiting battle in Ms every year. A BCS bowl, no doubt in my mind.

The only thing Michigan has to talk about is the past. So what if Miss. State hasn't won as many bowl games as Michigan. Maybe if you guys came down south and played a little more, you would know how hard it is to get to a bowl game. The SEC West is in the undefeated in all of their bowl games thus far, and it appears that they are about to win a National Championship. How is your conference doing?

@bamaman6627 also i would actually say msu had a very good year even though they were 9-4 their 4 loses were to auburn who went 14-0 and won the national championship arkansas who was 10-3 and lost to a pretty good osu team in the sugar bowl lsu i believe went 11-2 and alabama went 10-3 and beat the living hell out of the co-big ten champs msu (roll tide to that) and if i was michigan i would damn sure hope i didnt see msu again this year because they are going to be even better than last year
