You might be using cramming as your ‘go to’ approach to revision. It’s easy to implement (if very unpleasant to put yourself through) and seems effective. Unfortunately, impressions of effectiveness can often be misleading. It’s not that cramming doesn’t work at all; it just isn’t as effective as other methods of revising, especially if the goal is long term retention of material. In this video I suggest a more effective way to approach your revision.
