#1 Where is Midian? Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia

Part #1 Where did Moses go when he escaped from Egypt? Follow the geography of the land and what the Bible says to see what makes the most common sense. Madian is in Saudi Arabia
But some western wanted to be in Sinai and others wanted to be Yemen

Our Holy Quran tells us about Midian, that Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) traveled to Midian to escape from Pharaoh.

2:49 Shows the road that Moses and the Israelites likely took to Midian and the mountain of God. As can be seen there is no reason to wind around the hills south of Al-Lawz to burn up time going to the wrong campsites.

First wrong is everyone believes that exodus started from Lower Egypt (Nile Delta)
But it was from Upper Egypt close to Thebes. Moses (in Egyptian records his name is Nakhtmin, step son of Pharoah Aye) went to Eastern Desert and reached Median, a coastel city in Red Sea.

It’s name is Hurghada and Mountain Shaiyb el Banat is 30 km far at west side of Hurghada.

Shaiyb el Banat means “The old man of girls” in Arabic. Referred to Yitro (Reuel) and his daughters.

In this mountain valleys there are some lakes due to rains and coastal side of Red Sea is on the migration way of birds.

We need to understand that not once in the Bible did it say Moses feet ever touch the Promise land of Canaan. With that said, how did he get to Midian the first time around? Does it make any sense for him to have travel all the way to Midian if he had to go through Canaan and Jordan? Would he not just stayed and get help in one of those areas?

Next big question: how would he have crossed the Red sea to get in the areas you highlighted?, None of those area make sense. Midian can only be somewhere in the Sinai Peninsula located in Egypt or somewhere in Jordan, where he would have been able to get there by land without having to cross the sea.

Town names back then that started with 'T' were not common. Seems more than a coincidence that Moses camps at Tahath and at Terah were close to each other like Tabuk and Tayma. All very interesting.

The LAND of Midian in northwest Saudi Arabia was named after the PERSON "Midian, " who was the 4th listed son of Abraham by his 2nd wife Keturah (after his 1st wife's Sarah's death) as stated in the Book of Genesis Chapter 25: Verses 1and 2.

Moses took residence with a Gentile Priest and married a priest may have learned a great deal from this Priest.
