Correct me if I’m wrong but trees that are grown from the seeds of store-bought avocados produce fruit that isn’t as good. It must be grafted from a desirable tree.

Don't have use toothpicks to hold the seed in place.
Use a dome plastic lid with the hole on it and flip it over a cup of water, and watch the roots grow 😊

I peeled and put the the avocado in water with toothpicks about a month or so ago and it has long roots and already has 3 leaves 🥹 The paper towel probably helps speed up the process but not necessary if you want to see the whole growth process :))

You don’t really need to peal them then soak them, and all that.

I just chuck the seeds into a pot of dirt and let them do their thing.

I grow a few every year and got about 7 growing right now. I’m gonna twist them together and try to make a braided avocado tree.

My avocado trees stem grow from the bottom with the roots and I thought it was a root growing up wards, and it was a lot thicker than the roots until it started growing leaves I knew it was the stem🎉🎉🎉
