Systematic Literature Review and Meta Analysis

Systematic literature review with meta analysis is one of the most important methods used to review the scientific evidence on a topic. It starts with a literature search. If you're in the medical world, that might mean using PubMed (but there are other search engines). The selected studies need to be appraised. Appraisal of papers is important because different study types may provide different strengths of evidence. So Randomised Control Trials (RCTs) provide very strong evidence while case control studies weak evidence. Meta analysis is the most common method to synthesise quantitative data. The synthesis is usually presented as a forrest plot. So if you're doing a PhD or any other research, doing a lit review is an important first step.

I have a question regarding a systematic review I want to conduct. I want to analyse both qualitative and quantitative studies as there aren't many RCTs on the subject I am researching. Should I do a mixed-method, convergent style systematic review combining a qualitative approach and using the PICO format and possibly a meta-analysis, then using the qualitative research to do an etiology review section using PEO (Population, Exposure and Outcome). Is this normally done or am I making it up and would you recommend it?

the lecture is still important but you have to be carfule about speed of speech. your way of speech specially the speed of the speaker was not inclusive for who are the speakers of english as a scond language.
