i see for current soldiers Honorable discharge and health benefits that
will not cover any type of genital augmentations, torso modifications
(Excluding breast cancer cases) We would have to nearly double the defense
budget just to pay for these procedures for active duty personnel.
Allowing transgenders access to these services would create a flood of
people joining the military not to serve their country but to to get tax
payer funded surgeries. Its hard to get into the military but very
easy to get out. It would be possible for a transgender to get 100's of
thousands of dollars worth of surgery and go buy a bag of marijuana and
just wait for the next drug test to get out.
