The entity that appeared when it reached midnight, is called dread. It was supposed to come at that exact time but they didn’t have enough time so they didn’t add it.

It's the clock entity but the devs are still working on it

If you did not know, the entity shown in the clock’s reflection is in the game - their name is “Dread” and they are only found as a file in the game (the clock mechanic for how dread might of spawned is a lot of coding, this means they probably delayed it)

That's a new monster that the creators were going to add in the 1st version but decided in the Doors 2 it's a rare monster to. Like the painting you said it was fanmade, that's silence maybe they will add Silence and Depth

FACT: This entity was meant to come out with the rest of the hotel + update but it needed some more work, however, they didn’t want to push the update back once again so they broke the update into smaller parts which get released daily, and bigger parts get released after being announced.
