Palm Beach Gardens suffered extensive tornado damage Wednesday afternoon as Hurricane Milton is hours away from landfall at the Tampa Bay region.

I lived in PBG in the 90's. What a nice place to live. I pray for the people.

beyond the hurricane then tornados, too. Horrible for so many with their lives destroyed. I evacuated Tampa on Sunday, I'm in Georgia in a hotel watching this on TV. Not sure when I can return.

The sad thing is in Michigan if there's a tornado warning we take shelter in the basement of our house but Florida homes don't have basements 😢

You know what helps mitigate storm damage is trees and the ability for water to absorb and have area to run off instead of 50, 000 brand new homes and all the trees leveled.

At least they are wealthy enough to have full coverage hom insurance. Many of us can not afford how much homeowners need. These disasters are the worst. I feel so sad for those who have lost lives and homes.
