lol, I appear to be late to the party but that first video looks an awful lot like sand-spewing at a beach. (I'm from the Netherlands where that's done pretty regularly) It's basically just a giant tube that shoots a mixture of sand and water (water as lubricant) to increase elevation of the ground. Not very scary
