In this part of my Unreal Engine 4 Beginners Tutorial, I'll show you how to add the static mesh for the rock to the level. We'll also look at how we can combine the same rock mesh to create a wider range of interestingly shaped rocks.

If you want to take your learning beyond what I have been able to cover in my videos then I recommend checking out the following:

Layer Coords are used for landcape textures and texture coords for any other material?

A fully fledged tutorial on how to make 3d assets from scratch in blender and then importing them in ue4 would be awesome.

thanks for this perfect tutorials. A question. What will happened if we import an fbx object along with material/textures ? (because you uncheck the import material/textures at the fbx import options) .

hey, love the vids, I have a question though. I download static meshes from the internet and put them into a file and when I go to put them in eu4, they don't show up in my files. I think that they need to be in an fbx. format but I don't know how to do that, I've watched tutorials but they are all using 3ds max and I don't want to spend money. Sorry for not donating to your patreon, I just don't really have the funds
