Hayden Christensen Wanted To Be In The Clone Wars #shorts

Before the Clone Wars series was released in 2008, Hayden Christensen who plays Anakin Skywalker in the prequel movies was actually interested in reprising his role in the animated show. However he wasn’t asked back into the position and Matt Lanter voiced the Chosen One.

I love Matt Lanter he is such a good Anakin. With that said it still would’ve been cool to hear Hayden as Anakin again.

I just wish Hayden actually had an opportunity to prove himself; have a voice reel to see if he would have been a good fit for Clone Wars. I get that he probably wasn't chosen because people had a very negative opinion of his portrayal in the prequels in 2008, but knowing that it was almost entirely just bad directing on George's part, I hope Hayden at least got a chance to audition.

In the german dubbing of TCW the same voice actors were used as in the live action movies for the respective characters and I have to say it worked perfectly and made the implementation of the show into the Star Wars world extremely easy for anyone who was watching

Clone Wars Anakin is a very different character from Movie Anakin. The former is much more confident, self-assured, stable, and dare I say, cool when compared to the latter.

I think it would have been cool just knowing that its the same actor and voice throughout the clone wars as a whole but I agree with your point about how the clone wars Anakin was portrayed differently and I think thats what makes Matt Lanter so good as well.
