Use ultimate before stunning.

Target someone else and stop wasting your ultmate on him knowing that you wouldn't be able to kill him.

That's why I cast Vale's ultimate first as fast as I can before using his CC skill 2.

i just played vale and face with ling and he always targeted me and i cant do anything he’s too slippery so what I did i waited for him to use his ultimate and place my ultimate on me so when his ultimate animation is done he surely died😆

I like using cc ult and damage 2nd skill instead lol, just so satisfying when u catch all of them with ult then 2nd skill

Cause u need to ult first, then b, then a, depends how fast your hand is, and to counter literally enemy with immune ult is just freeze yourself, they can't hit smth they can't dmg, plus u still get a magic dmg too

This is why reaction time is much more important than fast fingers when playing Ling.

Vale's not even my main but None of Ling users have ever survived my combo (except when one starts building Athena) Just wait for the right timing when Ling already use his ult. Also, another alternative combo is to cast the ult first before casting 2nd and 1st. That way you eliminate the delay of Ult's burst since it will explode already while enemy is still midair.

I've encountered the same problem before especially with enemy assassins (I was playing against Karina). The knockup time just isn't enough for the full combo. They always escape or press winter truncheon a second before the ult finally explodes. It's annoying. Also encountered the same problem with Kagura's combo, the enemy Hayabusa also escaped the combo. The 0.5s CC just isn't enough.

Try changing your combo with ling :)) use your ulti first before using 1st skill or 2nd skill.
