Reproducible research and why researchers are struggling with it

Reproducibility is a minimum standard (same data + same analyis = same results), but why are people struggling with it?

1) Lacking technical skills such as
- Coding skills such as R or Python
- Computational project organisation
- Version control

2) Time pressure
- Writing many papers is rewarded
- Good scientific practice is not
