Oil Ocean Past looks fantastic! But I'd switch the oil-like patterns of the "waterfalls" to a more natural water-looking.

the super characters should fly
Sonic: like ERZ from Sonic Mania
Tails: like Sonic Chaos and Sonic Triple Trouble but he doesn't get tired
Knuckles: same thing, but he doesn't go down when gliding, you can glide up pressing up and glide down by pressing down
Amy: since it's the first time she's going super, she can't fly, but everytime she uses her hammer in the ground, all the badniks on the screen get destroyed
Metal Sonic: he can't go super, but he can use his abilities of breaking spikes better, you only need 10 rings to break spikes

Interesting to see all the additions and changes you're making to please all the fans that follow you. I especially enjoy the little imagining of Past Oil Ocean and the interactive New Super Mario Bros. Wii style credits, though I feel Past Oil Ocean should be a bit more different aesthetically. Maybe make it look more like it's meant to be an ocean, surroumded by water and filled with machinery.

I love the idea of giving the enemies their beta behaviors in the past, its like before the game came out.
