The weave and slip mechanics in this game are shit. They should just lose the slip mechanic, and depending how fast you weave you would get your slip animations. But this L3 direction shit and the weave being horse piss. You cannot punish spammers. I feel like the power punches are perfect but you need defensive options and you need the abily to stand in a mother fuckers face and make him miss.

1. Wilder OP AF. Everyone spams the wildmill hook with no stamina cost
2 Ghost punches/ de sync issue
3. Can’t land a regular jab
4. When you hurt someone, it’s hard to finish them. There is like a force field between the fighters
5. Reduced stamina for power spammers
6. Hard to duck under power hooks
8. My player gets stuck in the mud randomly
9. Connection drops and I get a warning for quitting match even tho I was winning
9. Did I forget to mention I can’t land a jab.
10. No incentive to try and outbox someone with only 8 rounds
11. No enough high caliber rated boxers

Everything you said is spot on plus they need to fix the ghost punches. I hate stepping out of range and still getting hit with a shot I was nowhere close to

The Devs need to fix the slow stiff head movement, AI stamina is ridiculous and the controls are clunky L2/LT needs to be both weave and body punch, L1/LB should be power modifier.

I’m loving the game. But one thing we not talking about is its value. This isn’t a $80 game. I’m not getting the $80 experience compared to these AAA open world games thts at the same price. A lot of details are missing tht older fight nights had. This is a $45 game.

I don't get why people want a rockem sockem boxing game. They should make punches that land actually do damage and punish people for not blocking. Wish this game was truly a boxing simulator.

Last night I ran into a player that was boxing. No power hooks only when needed. We boxed 8 rounds. Invited him for a 12 round bout. We boxed & it was beautiful.
Hope they patch the power hooks with no penalty. This game is on its way & you can still have fun & outbox your opponent!

Seems like a boxer should take more damage when their stamina bar is low. That would give an option to punish people and just spam combos.

The hit detection, unimpressive damage, and the obvious lack of marquee fighters (hagler, hearns, duran, foreman, pacquiao, liston, whitaker, de la hoya, etc.) is holding the game back

💯No lies detected. The animations could run smoother together. Power punches are op and they don't get tired. Counter punches don't do much damage at all. All fixable. Game has potential.

My biggest issue is people rage quitting on a 7 count and I get put in low priority saying I disconnected when haven’t quit a game. It’s frustrating to keep playing when I’m being punished for them RQ.

My biggest problem with this game is the head movement and blocking speed. They seriously need to work on that. Weaving and blocking is WAY TOO SLOW. On top of that, this game has no parry mechanic. I cant play how I want to play. You cannot stay in the pocket in this game. It forces you to move all the time. All in all, its not a bad game. It just needs work

I thoroughly enjoy this game warts and all... but I truly don't understand why the weave mechanic is so horrible. You basically just can't roll under shots, unless you're graced by God. Suddenly your dude is as rigid as a body found on Mount Everest. It seems like a thing you would want to make feel good and smooth given how fundamental weaving and rolling is in boxing. The slip mechanic is fine, but it doesn't compensate for how atrocious weaving is.

Man I just got smoked by a deontay wilder who threw over 300 power punches and had more then 50% stamina. I couldn’t do anything or box properly

After playing some more... I think the biggest issue is the fact that after you throw a punch you cannot move backwards for a second or so... you are hard locked to stand there and eat the counter unless you exit with a backwards moving strike to give yourself some extra space to negate this hard lock, however moving forward can be perpetual whilst striking and blocking meaning the person coming forward has an extreme advantage and you have NO TOOL to be able to stop this because inherently throwing a strike and trying to move backwards immediately after is impossible, if you throw an intercepting strike, the time it takes for the opponent to recover is the time it takes to begin moving again and you are right back at square one

I feel you online should be 12 rounds and if you strictly Power punches you need to take a hit to stamina early but that’s a small fix
