The Oakley Holbrook Mix is a combination between the classic Holbrooks and the Holbrook Metal, containing plastic frames and metal earpieces. Close up shots and two thumbs up for these stylish and fun sunglasses. These ones come with Oakley's "Matte Black Tortoise" frames, silver and black earpieces and Oakley's new sapphire Prizm Polarized Lenses.

You should reach out to Oakley I’ve had sunglasses that have lenses that aren’t cut properly, they should replace them under warranty.

I got the Crosshair 1.0 a few years ago for $200 the price is reasonable considering the frame is all metal.

I can get them for $95 right now after promos and a code. I have Holbrooks XL and am wondering if it be better to get the mix as an extra pair ?

Ben, I was looking at the regular Holbrook's, and I found the mix. So you mention that you went with the mix over the regular, but then you mention the metal takes away from the look. Do you still prefer the mix or looking back would you go with the regular? Good review you're the only person I found that actually mentions the fact that there are different versions of the Holbrook.

Could the sounds be from the metal temple o-matter front combo? I h ave the Custom Holbrooks. No creaking sounds at all. :)


If getting a premium feel is important than I don't think Oakley's is the brand to look at. I'd go with Ray-Ban Wayferers. They look premium.And I am planning to order my first pair of non-polarized (first..see if I like the fit..in 58mm).

When glasses in face the right side lens wobles when u press of and down on it and moves side too side of you make it any solutions

I have seen and tried these ones. These are exclusively for big very tall guys which obviously have big heads. They don't look good on guys with small heads. They look retro like police guys sunglasses from the 70s.

Does anyone know if change the lens well the same lens but with prescription I wear on glasses.

Glare on the inside of the lens? I've never noticed that when wearing a pair of polarized shades. Parasol brand has addressed that. Putting an anti reflective coating on the inside. Italian made. Not cheap. The only sunglasses maker to address that iirc.

Where did you get them at that price? I cant find them for less that 216 and I refuse to pay anywhere near that. Believe me you pay for what you get, but that's just obscene
