Counterbalance Drum Lifter for Food Grade Areas w/Screw Top Drums (DTP08-250KG-R500-DPA02)

This counterbalance drum lifter is designed for use with screw top and steel food grade drums. The barrel lifter can lift drums of up to 300kg in confined areas where space around the drum is limited. It has a counterweight in the box at the back of the unit. This allows the unit to pick up drums and barrels without the need of support legs sticking out the front of the unit.

These counterbalance lifter units are generally used to take drums off pallets and load them into dispensing machines that have no access for wheels to go around or under.

The universal stainless steel drum grip can pick up steel or plastic drums and barrels from 50 to 205 litres. The unit also features a DPA02 attachment which will allow you to lift screw top drums up to 300kg.

The rear handle operates the tiller steering on both rear wheels. We would recommend this counterbalance unit for operating on level floors. The steel chassis is grit blasted and powder coated to give a tough long lasting finish. We can also offer the unit in stainless steel if required for food areas. For this unit we have supplied a cover for the pump to protect when cleaning down the area in a food area.
