Shortly after the commercial came out, we travelled through Etihad from Abu Dhabi to the United States. After asking where the prayer room was, the flight attendant simply pointed to the floor in front of the bathrooms near the back of the plane. There were no prayer mats either- we resorted to using the blankets provided.

I’m just happy if any airline gives us any space to pray. Even if it’s a tiny space near the back

Nice effort. I would highly appreciate that the Etihad Airways provide room for prayer in prayers time on every flight and on every aircraft.

I just flew from Abu Dhabi to Singapore on Etihad in Economy. It is great that there was space at the back but it was in between 2 lavatories. So I just had to stand by my boys as an usher so that non-muslims know we were praying. Plus we kind of was inconveniencing those waiting for the loo. I would have just done it in front of my seat which had more space.

PIA is no longer the airline it once was but it's nice thar flight attendances don't mind prayer taking place at cursing altitude. It's helpful when the plane is already facing east.

Saudia has a better praying area, why is it so hard for Emirates & Etihad who both have A380 to make a better praying area. I flew once with the Emirates and it was time for prayer, I asked the flight attendant if I could pray near the emergency door (which has a plenty of room) and he refused.
I'm just being reasonable!!!!
