so what I did was join all the short ends first, then scoot the planks up to the previous row and overlap the locking mechanism. Then I would start working the locks in length wise at an angle. Then I would go back again and tap them in to seat them. Once the short ends are locked in, you can gently move them without breaking the locks. Just don't put too much stress on them. I basically installed my floor twice 😁

Where can you purchase this flooring besides Lowes?

Hey, Smartcore. The short ends do not and cannot lock. They do on the Ultra series, but not the Pro.

Do you need to lay down anything on the concrete

I have this floor. From what I can see this is a 100% non organic product as in no wood ... the ultra has wood flour or some stuff compressed so I understand why it's installed to allow expansion... why do we do the same with the pro?

The short ends are not locking smart core ! 😡 I’m returning all my flooring back to the store! Do not purchase this flooring peeps!
