"Megertu Seboka is a farmer. Her rural home is in Mazoria district in Ethiopia where she enjoys clean and safe water whenever she needs it. Now she can waters her plants whenever they need it, now that she has water running to her hoe thanks to wind powered water pumps provided by funding by the African Development Bank.

Jabo Seifu is an Entrepreneur. He explains how he has started his own business of providing private showers to people in his village thanks to the reliable water now provided by the solar powered water pumps thanks to a loan from the African Development Bank.
Atsadu Tufa is responsible for the management of this water point. The solar pump has a lot of advantages over the diesel generators. The diesel generators need fuel for operation while solar is Godgiven and so she are enjoying this free gift.
Tamene Mengistu is a teacher at Abu Botoro Primary School. He teaches kids. There are four villages that used to rely on this diesel operated system. That is over 500 households. Kids getting water People used to wait in line for a long time to fetch water and now there are no more challenges people are happy with this new water system because it reduced the use of energy.
Nuredin Mohammed is the Director for Water Supply and Sanitation Directorate at the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity. He have been here about 20years.
Muluneh Bonsa is the manager for water, mines and energy at the district level. He is so happy about this water project. before, he couldn't access water all the time. but now he can get whenever we need. "
