People talk about sportiness and lack of power. But honestly speaking most people buying cars in these segments doesn't want any of that. What matters most is ride quality, ease to drive, fuel efficiency, reliability, dependability, hassle free ownership and steady highway cruising at 100+ KPH. Which the HyRyder and Grand Vitara have.

IMO Maruti and Toyota might be late, but they've come with a winning formula.

Love how Maruti is listening to its consumer base. The AWD system makes it more capable than any of its rivals.

Nikhil Bhatia is by far the best presenter across any auto channel. His presentation technique, clarity of thought, voice modulation et al is absolutely spot on. There’s a lot that your other presenters can learn from him.

Maruti should seriously bring back the 1.5 ddis engine... It can absolutely smoke Hyundai/Kia's CRDI Engines without a doubt...

I’ve got the Scross Mild Hybrid and I can assure this platform is superb for our road conditions. Majority of us won’t be always on the boil to have a sporty experience and will prefer the comfort added with relaxed driving, the Grand Vitara is for sure a bang for your buck.

Dang.. I was never this early for any of your videos.

In a country where most people buy SUVs with 4WD/AWD to drive to grocery stores, Maruti Suzuki & Toyota have nailed it.

IDK but why is Ventilated Seats, Automatic Transmission and Fully Digital Instrument cluster limited to strong hybrid only meanwhile Hill descent control and paddle shifters only to All grip and Mild hybrid versions respectively only. Very weird

A star is born. 🌟
Unbelievable. The Grand Vitara handled everything thrown at it during the off-road test. The AWD plus the Suzuki badge is going to just rule the segment! Feature loaded, lovely exteriors and fuel efficient! Destined to be a segment changer.
The Vitara is even better inside. Great job MSIL. Almost the perfect product plus all possible features with excellent mileage!

Man this is going to be my second car for sure!
The only downside is that the top variant doesn't get Paddle shifters and automatic transmission :(

I like this car. Sure it's low on power but a SUV with a famed AWD tech and Japanese reliability with diesel like fuel efficiency... Get some all terrain tyres, you got yourself a competent cross country cruiser

People who admire THAR but doesn’t buy it due to it being 3 door, will go for Grand Vitara. Or the Gymni once it is launched.

Truly a commendable product from Maruthi this has been long due but finally seems like they have done justice for the time they took.

This time Maruti has hit all the boxes in my book. Maruti has proven it can make strong cars with excellent engines and also the collaboration with Toyota has paid off. I still feel the steering should be able to provide excellent feedback, which I think Maruti can work on in the future.

I am really impressed. This is a complete package family car.
1. Mild or strong hybrid will give awesome milega.
2. Since most of the time we will be riding in town/city, so no issue with performance.
3. Highway performance is good for 80-100kmph. I mean for a family car, that's good.
4. It is AWD, has offroad capabilities, so it will be useful in case of bad roads or say after heavy rain.
All in all, it seems to me a great value for money car.
