HILL EC 3000 / 3 LITRE BOTTLE TOP-UP (200 TO 300 BAR) 16/01/2022

First real test to see how long it would take for the Hill EC-3000 to top-up a Carbon 3 Litre bottle from 200 Bar to 300 Bar. The Hill compressor does pause at 75 Centigrade then restarts at 65 Centigrade for cooling purposes, and even with a total running time of just under 19 minutes, she only paused 6 times. The instructions does say that this compressor can top-up to 7 Litres, but personally I would keep in down to 4 Litres and below, purely on filling times, and number of pauses. Obviously never leave your compressor running without keeping an eye on it, safety first.👍

Hi...just bought mine and am impressed but want to check everything before topping up a bottle....they say you can top up bottles up to 7 litre without issue. My question is are you just joining your bottle hose with the compressor hose via a male/male foster coupler? Or do I need to get a specific DIN connector to fill bottles....ie the normal one on the boatel to fill up pcps is one way or something? Thanks !!

Just got a Hill EC 3000, the menu wheel has a mind of its own, think it could be "Duff", i will try it a few more times but it could end up going back!

Thanks for that I'm looking to buy a agt uragan compact which has a fill pressure up to 300bar, and I've just ordered the hills compressor.How many shots do you get from your uragan

Learning from the techs at Hill that now the shut-off is 65 degrees when filling any tank that's more than 250 bar.

Great little video. Just a couple of things, first, I’m looking forward to your oil change video. Second, am I mistaken in thinking you used to run an inline oil/water separator between the compressor and tank/rifle?
