For those who are wondering, when you press the home button to activate Siri, it scans your fingerprint so your iphone will unlock anyway if it’s the finger you use to unlock your phone. If you use a different finger ( not saved as a finger to unlock with ) it won’t unlock.

At 1st he pressed the fingerprint reader really fast so it didn't had enough time to read and unlock it, but the 2nd time he layed his finger all over the reader for a good 2 seconds so it unlocked the phone.
