Bruce Arians' 2015 Cardinals at 13-3 is one of my favorite teams of the decade of that season, along with the 15-1 Panthers, the 7-9 Saints(played great games!) and the eventual SB winning Broncos. It is Bruce Arians' masterpiece, his 3rd year he'd installed everything about his philosophy and they went 13-3. "No Risk It No Biscuit", the Cardinals dropped bombs on opponents, they stretched the field, they stressed safeties, they took the shots and played thrilling football.
This coaching staff on both sides of the ball loved to take chances with deep shots and big blitzes. On defense they were a 3-4/2-4 and used those LBs and D backs to rush the passer, with decent coverage behind it. Get a sack, turnover, or give up a big play. It worked more often then not! Calais Campbell is part of the 3 man/2 man line
This is the Year NFL Films and Amazon produced a Great Miniseries "All or Nothing"; which for the first season, followed the 2015 Cardinals released summer of 2016 which Amazon releases every summer. They picked the right team for this... 3 seasons later nothing came close to that first edition because the 2015 Cardinals were just so friggin awesome. All or Nothing is sort of like hard knocks except the games Matter and the Players featured are STARTERS and stars not undrafted camp bodies aspiring to become backups. I think I'll watch it again, I mean, hey, I just watched this Seahawks Cardinals game...
Seahawks are defending NFC Champs and are still excellent in 2015, making the playoffs. Their big weakness, their offensive line that had been steadily eroding since their peak in 2013. Also the D line had lost players from their dominant 2013. But they put up a thriller here against their nemesis of that season. It wasn't the Niners anymore in 2015, it was the sudden blitzing and bombing juggernaut in Arizona.

If you got Amazon Prime, watch "All or Nothing 2015 Cardinals" ; it was a thrilling epic season story, told by everyone involved. High Risk, Blitz and Bomb, this is definitely a favorite style for me. Certainly one of the 20-30 greatest team seasons of the decade. Can't go by Superbowl winners; does anyone really think the 2011 Giants, MY lifelong team, is one of the Greatest teams of the 2010's? 2012 Ravens? No Im sorry, the team they beat, the 2012 Niners is a Greatest team of the decade, not the 2012 Ravens; (but certainly the 2019 Ravens! Whether they go all the way or not, 2019 Ravens is an amazingly exciting season) For me you have to be exciting and have something special. Special doesn't win Superbowls, defense does, and often fluky offense, like helmet catches, or fluky events like not handing off to Marshawn Lynch, or, like 2018 Saints getting mugged on no call pass interference on 3rd down in the shadow of the goal posts. 2018 Saints are a Greatest team candidate...

I can't believe how the 2015 Cardinals season ended, the Panthers Cardinals Playoff was the biggest disappointment ever. The Panthers 15-1, Cards 13-3, From back in November I was so into these teams and believing the inevitable Cardinals vs Panthers playoff game is going to be one of the greatest games EVER. Nope. Carson Palmer went from near MVP level regular season to total shit, just awful play, for an awful snooze of a game.
