Product Review: weBoost Drive Sleek 4G LTE Cell Signal Booster

During a recent Vermont trip, we install and take a look at the performance of the new weBoost Drive Sleek from Wilson Electronics. We've used the weBoost 3GS for a while with great success in our travels. It's time for an upgrade!

Works great . I just got mine. I went to were I work because there is no service down there, had service every where I drove. Never would get service till I got back to top of the hill. But now I got service every where around there. Also goes to lot of parks and lakes were there is no cell service. So now got service there. Highly recommended 👌

Could I use this product as a hotspot booster at my house for gaming? And if so how can I power the booster if it only uses a car adaptor as a charger.

I got the older version you have there(be here tomorrow) that way for the same $200, I can add the commonly done Wilson directional antenna (or have it on hand), plus the extra hardware needed. Would you say, at least as far as signal boost alone goes, they are about the same? Thanks for the video.

It would be great if you can run the speedtest.net app to compare the actual LTE speed before and after.

so the booster transmit from a external box. then why is it necessary to place it into cradle? (i think i know why) I'm also curious about a few things... if you place a secondary phone close to the cradle would the second phone get a signal boost. And if it does boost would someone in the back seat benefit from a small boost if using their phone?

In the User Manual it states "IMPORTANT: The FCC requires to never use the cell phone in the cradle
next to your ear."

Just purchased this it's okay but I hate the ugly antenna I purchase the Wilson antenna which is bigger but it will not hook into the booster it's a different connection and there isn't any connections out there to fix this do you have any suggestions

Dude ... I hope your production value has improved since this vid. Bad audio ("in a cave" voice on left, music on right? ... whaddup with that?!), forever-and--a-day to get started with the review, etc. I left after a couple minutes and found some shorter, faster reviews. :-(
