Every band I love has some songs I don't like, or even can't stand. That is except for Death of course. Every album amazing in it's own way, and every song is metal as fuck. Chuck wasn't a guitarist or a vocalist. He was a musical genius, and it is a shame so few people know of him.

When I listen to Chuck it's like listening to Dimebag. I can't believe they both had so much to offer metal & they were both cut off in the prime of their lives. Sometimes when you listen to their music it's hard to believe that they're gone & we'll never hear a new note from them again.

The perfect harmonies, Chucks killer solo's, the emotional charge and the meaningfull and often philosophical lyrics of death combined with the sophisticated drums of Gene Hoglan makes this band the epitome of metal. The musical profoundness of Death towers so highly above the rest.

How amazingly beautiful this song is. It is so melodic and the lyrics... God... Throughout our lives, at some point, there were dark skies beating us down with shadows of deceit, for all of us. And they slashed at trust so hard that it kept bleeding.
Such powerful melodies and so relatable lyrics. Geniusly crafted by an amazing musician.
