Adding yellow red and blue makes the portrait more vibrant. Thanks for this video! It really helped me.

You seriously deserve so many more views! I have been struggling to make portraits in just watercolor but you were really able to break it down and explain your process. Thank you

Thanks so much, Ham. I didn't think gaudy vibrant colors like green and violet would fit into skin tones but wow, your demonstration was really helpful in showing how these colors make a great base for painting skin. I really appreciate this <3

If this isn’t a great example of the power of mixing your own colors I don’t know what is! 😍 Thank you.

I feel like the skin tone set is great if you add a few more half pans to it for more variety and cool tones. Still useful and as part of a whole. And fun to have a small portable skin tone pallet.
Both. Both is good!

I have that palette ; it's nice & easy if u aren't as experienced w/ skin tones (like myself.. )However, I'll try & use those other colors as well for more variety👍

A great way to think about skin is to think about color correction in makeup.

I'll be practicing more of my watercolor skintone thanks to this. All of your videos and works are really inspiring. And I loooove your art style talaga. It's unique and very vibrant. Lalo na din yung color combinations mo. Hindi ako masyado nagcocomment kase nahihiya ako (most of the time). Pero everytime na makikita ko posts mo here at sa Facebook, buo na agad araw ko ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for the informative video! This was very helpful. I feel more confident with creating darker skin tones now (I usually make my people really pale, like me, lol). I love the purple-ness of the darkest DIY skin tone - SO PRETTY! I seriously have to go practice this now. Thank you!
