Vlog | Shooting a Japanese TV Show with Ladybeard

PUMPKIN SOUP RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 whole kabocha squash (chopped into pieces with the seeds removed)
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 yellow onion chopped
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp of ground ginger
1/2 tsp cumin
1 cup of vegetable broth
1/2 cup of soy milk (or any milk you like)
freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
In a large pot with boiling water, boil the chopped up kabocha until cooked and soft
while it's cooking fry up the diced onion in the olive oil
when the onion is soft (about 5-7 minutes) add in the cinnamon, nutmeg, cumin, and ground ginger.. mix well
when the pumpkin and onion is cooked add half the pumpkin, half the onions and half the vegetable broth to a blender and blend until smooth
then do the other half
add all the soup back to the pot and heat back up on low heat
slowly add in the soy milk.. you can put less or more depending on how thick you like your soup
pour some in a bowl, top with cinnamon, a pinch of salt, and fresh black pepper, then serve!
**This makes a really big batch (about 6 big bowls) I like to do this and keep it in my fridge to heat up for the week!**
