Iceland was beautiful to behold in so many ways. When we visited there in March 2022, we weren't sure how the trip was going to go. We did lots of pre-planning and YouTube video watching with people like @icelandwithaview who gave us plenty of great ideas. When we were there, we saw all that we could see, depending on the weather, and just had a wonderful time. From seeing lots of gorgeous waterfalls to walking through an ice cave the base of a glacier, Iceland did not disappoint.

Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, with a drop of some 60 meters and a width of 25 meters, and you can walk right up to, but be prepared to be drenched. Skogafoss is in the south of Iceland at the cliffs of the former coastline. After the coastline had receded seaward (it is now at a distance of about 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) from Skogar village), the former sea cliffs remained. Skogafoss is unique because the waterfall comes directly from two glaciers, Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull.
