Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center celebrated its upcoming opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 22.

Scheduled to open Friday, Oct. 1, this 110-private-inpatient bed facility represents our commitment to provide you with more convenient access to Penn State Health’s world-class, expert care. Together with Highmark, our long-term goal is to have everyone in the communities we serve within 30 minutes of a Penn State Health acute care hospital, 20 minutes of specialty care services, 10 minutes of primary care and 0 minutes for virtual care.
