42 years later, and this song never gets old, it's timeless.

My Mom used to play this song along when she used to take me to school in her 1982 Firebird, flying down the highway burning rubber. This song stuck in my head. Dad used to rock this when working on his car and cleaning out his entertainment system. They're old now and having them still around and kicking is a blessing from on High!

I think about my parents and my fiancee Isabella when I hear this song.

I was 5 yrs old. When this was released and I have great memories of my mom and dad getting ready to go out on a Saturday night. Dad with his polyester pants and shirt half way unbottoned and mom in a nice dress with a flower in her hair. Nothing will ever beat the 70"s thanks for the memories mom and dad!

This is one the best songs ever produced. Everything perfect. Bass, rhythm, vocals, genius!

My grandma talks about how she used to party to all these songs in the clubs in Hollywood in the 70s. Lucky old woman.

This song brings back great memories, and is still ahead of it's time. "Sister Sledge" were a class act, 'Sister Sledge" were and are sociocultural revolutionaries. Thanks for posting. Regards, Michael M. Kamau, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, 7th March 2024.

Bass line is soooo sick. I have to come back to this song every so often just for the bass.🎶

Nile Rogers played the hell out of this guitar 🎸

Nile Rodgers is a genius. He wrote, composed and produced this song - among many others - and his guitar skills are legendary. One of the best rhythm guitarists I know of. I whish I had only a 10th of that feel for the groove.

I danced to this in Lake Tahoe and I thought I looked good on the dance floor. I was groovin and all of a sudden the girl got mad and said " you think you look good" and walked off the dance floor lol. I'm 70 now and will never forget the good times I had dancing to seventies disco music! WOW!

Without this track, so many dance songs would never have been made.

Whoever is playing that bass guitar is laying down some serious funk.

This groove is one of my favorites. I was blessed to be born at a time to enjoy artists from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Whenever I want to get my boogie on and dance up a good sweat...I play this jam over and over again. LOVE THIS SONG! Thank you Niles, Bernard and Sister Sledge. Forever grateful.
