SWEET POTATO CINNAMON ROLLS ✨🍠 Who’s ready for a warm hug in bun form? ❤️
It’s the perfect season for cozy weekend baking - these ultra-fluffy rolls are simply irresistible! The ultimate cosy comfort food!
Made with sweet potato magic, they’re the absolute sweet treat that you won’t want to miss! ✨🤩
🍠 INGREDIENTS:
For the dough:
300g plain flour
7g instant yeast
2 tbsp caster sugar
1/2 tsp salt
150ml plant milk
100g mashed sweet potato (about 1 medium)
3 tbsp melted vegan butter
For the cinnamon filling:
3 tbsp softened vegan butter @flora_family_uki
75g brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
For the cream cheese frosting:
100g vegan cream cheese - I used @violife_foods
50g powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 HOW TO:
DOUGH: Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add plant milk, mashed sweet potato, and melted vegan butter. Knead until smooth, then let rise for 1 hour.
CINNAMON FILLING: Roll out the dough, spread with softened vegan butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
ROLL: Roll it tightly, slice into rolls, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
BAKE: Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180°C (160°C fan, 350°F) until golden.
FROST: Whip up the cream cheese frosting and drizzle it over the warm rolls. 😍
