Thank you to everyone who gave feedback about the volume of the music. We added captions to the video to help those having a hard time understanding the discussion. We're still learning about film making and hope to do better on future videos.

I had road work done with 3/4 minus, but it doesn't appear to have any fines in it, it is very loose even after compaction and is already moving around and washboarding. The guy claims it does have fines in it and I would like to know how I can prove to him it doesn't have near enough fines to bind the gravel

If you use a minus product for the compaction, don't the smaller particles prevent the material from draining as rapidly as a clean product would?

In a paver patio, if you had a six inch base of 3/4" clear crushed rock, and then had a one inch compacted 1/4 minus layer above that, how quickly could you drain through the 1/4 minus product?

Im told that i need to use angular clean rocks in place of the disturbed soil to place my stem walls in it.. To me it doesnt sound right.... any thoughts there?

For a driveway Would you recommend laying down minus first then layering clean on top of that ?

Great video, just wish it was without the music, and with a close up of both products!

Thank you for the video. Very helpful! In the past I used road base in my horse corral (minus smaller size). Now I'm only finding 1 1/4" minus but the rocks are way larger than that. Even 3/4" minus has some much larger rocks than I would like. I'm in Wyoming. Are there standards for the sizes that i can ask for? What do you suggest for horse corrals? Not sand though. I had a guy use fill dirt without my knowledge or permission and it's absolutely horrible! Sure wish I lived close enough to use your products and pick your brain(s)!

Once a minus driveway compacts, does it drain well?

Would something like 1/4 minus work for traction on a very steeply sloped gravel driveway? We're talking a 141m long driveway with 20m elevation (462ft long × 65ft high) from the road to the parking area.

Great explanation of the difference between clean rock and minus rock. One suggestion: lower the music volume.

Pa is way different. We have 2RC limestone with a little clay and limestone dust, then go over with crush and run which has a little more stone in it, then clean 2b. It locks together hard. After that is ran in, we put fine 1a clean limestone and run that in, your pretty much done. It takes 3 to 5 yrs to get everything really locked in where you hardly ever need more product. Some people after that if they have the money tar and chip it. I guess to start, we put a 12in base of shale down.

The music is too loud, and it is difficult to hear what you guys are saying.

I liked listening to the music while you guys played with the boxes of gravel and moved your lips. The title made me think you were going to discuss different gravels, not just play music.
