His Majesty Charles III, King of the United Kingdom, will be crowned in May 2023 in a ritual which is nearly 1050 years old! The British monarchy and the ritual of coronation both have their origins in Anglo-Saxon England and its pagan kings who claimed descent from the King of the gods - Woden who the Vikings called Odin. In this video you will learn all the pagan elements that have survived in the modern coronation ritual - some of which date back to Ancient Rome!

I always liked how he seems to be the only high up figure who cares about permaculture. Not fines, not whinging in a yacht 'environmentalism'. Planting hedges and engaging with British farmers is a good enough thing on its own for me, something that actually matters and shows actual stewardship for the land.

I see it quite often and yet it's still breathtaking the level of splendour that was found in the Sutton Hoo burial. That sceptre is fantastic.

15:38: in Porphyry's 'On Images' he calls this orb 'the victory' (presumably because the orb had an image of Nike on top to signify that Jupiter had won the victory over all things). Very interesting origin story to the Holy Hand Grenade.

There are currently about 4000 views for this video. If even 500 Pagan chads arrived at Westminster Abbey during the coronation chanting "from the loins of Woden" i am pretty sure it would make the news. It would also be rather endearingly eccentric and English. It might also spark some curiosity amongst our kith and kin out there in normie land.

Gonna get my tea and enjoy this one. Survive the Jive is the most important British channel on YouTube.

Thank you for this. I have been pissing off leftists in my local pub by explaining how our King's divine right comes from his descent from Woden.

Yes! STJ is the absolute best Literally my favorite historical channel. From the research to the presentation, flawless. Pure gold my friend, as usual.

Mannus is called Manu, from which comes the word Manushya (human being - descendant of Manu) in the Vedas

I thought this was going to be a video on Charles's secret paganism; there's not much evidence on that by-the-way, except his references to nature as Mother Nature and his use of "her" to describe nature.

I find it intriguing that "Hengist" sounds almost exactly like the German word "Hengst" (stallion) and "Horsa" almost exactly like English "horse".

Always look forward STJ uploads. Nice to watch something that cuts through all the modern day noise and dross, and reconnect with the ancestors.

Can you explain why Charles was circumcised by a Jew and why a Rabbi will be with him the night before his coronation?

The mere mention of Gapt has brought such a huge research upon me

Very interesting. I wonder if the North Germans received an early image of Roman ‘Kingship’ from diplomatic gifts such as the Hoby Cups? Augustan silver cups exist depicting imperial court figures with Nike. And Tacitus records: ‘Roman envoys have presented the German chiefs with costly silver drinking vessels’ (Tacitus, Germany, passage 5).

Finally something positive about the coronation and how amazing it is these old rituals are still practiced. I wish we had that in France 😩 On social media it's been just so much hate towards these traditions, it's so annoying!

This is really fascinating to hear about. Do you plan to do another video after the king has been crowned or no?
