Ms. Son: majestic, poetic, crystalline! Power and delicacy combined to suit this sweeping composition, ably supported by a wonderful orchestra and conductor. Further words fail. She is genius.

As a separate comment (and as someone who has been a professional audio producer for 30 years) the sound quality of this is fantastic. Hard to do in an old church with a decay time of around 5 seconds by my reckoning. It could have so easily been a muddled mess of the original notes and their competing reverberations - but a wonderful clarity and richness prevail. Astounding!!

공간의 문제인가.. 공간의 울림이 좋아저인지. 여기서는 뵈젠도르퍼 피아노가 너무 투명하고 좋네. 녹음이 잘되어 인가... 평창 페스티벌에서 연주한 피협4번에 비해 동일한 피아노 연주가지만 협연이 누구인가에 의해 이렇게 다르게 표현되는구나. 엄청난 다이나믹스. 활기찬 생동감 피아노협주곡이지만 협주가 아닌 피아노의 개성이 너무 잘 드러난 이 공연과 이녹음 진정 감탄한다. 울림과 리이브한 느낌이 녹음에서도 잘 나타나서 좋다. 우리나라에서도 이런 공간에서 녹음이 되었으면.... 공연자와 객선 사이의 거리도 너무 부럽고

No one has mentioned Andrew Manze so far. I think he is worthy our applause because of his energetic conducting, he lays his soul in this, and the result is splendid.

Wow! I just love everything she plays, can't count how many times I've listened to her mozart 21 and 15 on YouTube, but also her interpretation of beethovens hammerclavier sonata is out of this world! I'd love to see her do all 5 of these concertos! ❤

Why such adoration for the pianist...it is Beethoven that deserves the applause...for creating such a masterpiece of beautiful music....many pianists can play this equally as well...all it takes is a lot of practice....like about 5-8 hours per day....if you can afford the time to practice and still pay your bills....then I give you credit....technical perfection is good....but to actually compose it....then your genius deserves all of the credit and applause!
