The actual easiest way to beat germany is to open the console and type annex all

Yeah, but always keep Kiev under you control, even though it isn't protected by the river. It's a supply hub and they're too precious on eastern front.

Best way:
•Spam 20 width infantry with support arty and engineers.
•Teach the ai the meaning of 10 million manpower.

I usually build lvl 5 forts in Poland (and also max anti air) and in my first try I got the “not one step back” achievement

ideally you want to keep kyiv as it's the local supply hub, without it you will have barley any supply in the area while the germans will have perfect

I would also suggest prioritizing anti air

Ive held this line before but it was a couple years ago and the Germans were insane they’d keep crossing the line and I’d have to beat them back over. Then i filled it out with level 10 forts and they just stopped attacking. Suddenly the entire was is a stalemate until Japan defeats the Americans in the pacific and begin invading Africa. I decided I needed to push the Germans back to Berlin so launch a series of counter offensives that only pushed a few states but by this point Germanys offensive abilities couldn’t beat back my units so I slowly advanced to Berlin and the Americans eventually got their shit together and beat Japan

Alternatively, just build a good army. I have never felt the need to fall back to the Stalin line.

You should have annexed the baltics as it gives tons of equipment

I keep dnipetrovsk and kiev under my fallback line and build max forts on them as well as the provinces that arent guarded by a river. Building 4-5 supply hubs in that fallback line is a must. I also set minimal cohesion so a unit near minsk isnt tryna cover for a unit near odessa. Once it has stagnated i just create frontline with minimal cohesion and micro medium tanks throughout railways and supply hubs to encircle and kill them.

You should heavily fortify Kiev, it is a major supply hub as well as an important victory point that controlled quite a few factories and core population

getting pushed that far back should be an crime, i just halted germans at dnieper-riga and they got like 3m causalities agaist my 2-300k

Holding the Stalin line is no fun if you want to counter attack. It’s a nightmare, I once lost 27 million men trying to break through it with green air

You could maybe scorched earth and retreat???

I just did this, but forgot to add logistics. Germany just outnumbered me with the army size, i tried to use more troops but infastructures wasn't enough for more. I tried to push but i got pushed back. 😭😭😭😭😭

I do the same, I build my defensive line along the dnieper and invade finland as soon as the game starts to avoid fighting on several fronts.
But I don't build forts, instead I build military factories to keep my divisions well supplied and go on the offensive without much trouble.
