Lightroom Workflow: Culling + Editing a Maternity Session

I recently worked with a couple for their outdoor Maternity Session. So in this video I've imported all of the photos from the maternity session and started a catalog for it. This is where I go into culling/editing/colorgrade mode. This is where I cull (keep/discard) all of the photos but edit them at the same time. Most of my editing happens in Lightroom. I try to stay "true-to-color" and play around with the sliders until I get the look I am going for. In this video you will see me create a general preset with the first few photos and then I sync them (copy/paste) that preset to the rest of the photos. Obviously that preset will not work for every photo, so I would have to modify it here and there.

This video will show you how I label picks/rejects and how I cull and colorgrade portrait sessions. Within the video I reference separate videos.

*Disclaimer: The way I light, shoot, manage photos, colorgrade, edit and use applications and tools is the process that works for me. It's not the only right way nor is it the wrong way. It's the way that works for me and my process. Feel free to use my advice and videos to apply this process to your workflow. Everyone does things differently and just because you do it a different way doesn’t mean my way is wrong. We are here to learn and I am providing access to my workflow for education. Thank you*

Thank you for sharing this real time workflow video. Well done. I have never thought to use LR in this manner with the color coding and all. I appreciate you sharing this!
