Installing a Sound Blaster 16 with real OPL3 from 1994 on my Pentium 1, along with a new CD-Rom and a lovely CD-writer.

Producing your own homemade CDRs in the mid-1990s, was akin to alchemy and witchcraft! However it was also not good for your wallet sitting, staring at the PC and literally praying, that your disc did not crash during the writing process. It was usually no faster than 2x at that time too, so you would be sat praying for a long time!

Does your awe32 have an opl3? Because the awe32 should be exactly the same as the sb16 only with the midi section added on.
