Jason Wilcox joins Manchester United as technical director as structure takes shape

Jason Wilcox has been confirmed as the new technical director of Manchester United, joining with immediate effect as part of the club's ongoing restructuring under minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS group. Wilcox, who previously served as Director of Football at Southampton and Academy Director at Manchester City, brings a wealth of experience to United, including his playing days when he won the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers in 1995. His appointment follows the hiring of new CEO Omar Berrada and comes amid speculation of Dan Ashworth joining from Newcastle.
