MSI should sponsor their hardware design team to stop shipping designs with a faulty plastic subframe design. Metal shell doesn't matter when the hinges just rip out of their plastic mounting points anyway, lol.

Yeah sadly the Cyborg having none upgradable storage and a low tdp of the 4050 is a total dealbreaker for most people, i genuinely thought that this Cyborg series is the one that's gonna replace the atrocious gf63 series for the budget segment but apparently its both disappointing all the same.

The Stealth 16 looks interesting. I think these thin and light laptops will be where the new GPU's will be worth it compared to last gen. They are more efficient than 3000 series at lower wattages.

Though I would prefer it if these laptop reviews were not sponsored by the manufacturer, so you can speak your mind fully and tell us really how the Cyborg 15 sucks vs higher wattage RTX 4050/4060 options at the same price, especially since the FHD display is only 224 nits with ghosting and low color gamut too… Might be worth picking up only when on big sale imo.

Prestige 13 evo has some of the best specs on the market. Lightweight, decent port selection, 1.8mm key travel, and huge battery (most others in this size are 52-62Whr). If only there was a thinkpad like this with an amd processor to extend the life of that big battery.

Would have loved to see the Stealth 14 and 16 with an RTX 4090 and Mini Led displays. The design of these machines is phenomenal.

4:47 prestige 13 EVO doesn't have discrete graphic card, but cooling system seems to cover something more than just CPU. What can it be?

i really worrided this 45W gpu and single fan will 'scam' MANY people!

I live in third world country, and usually people just buy the cheapest laptop gaming available, but with the expectation to be quite powerful too.
MSI GF 63 is the most popular gaming laptop, but they never ever knew that they have bought a super low power gpu just because it has a RTX 4050 or RTX4060!! they don't care nor know anything about TGP thus making MSI GF63 with the crappy build quality became the post popular gaming laptop. How many times i see people just complaining about their MSI laptop being hot, bricked, and not powerful enough for a goddamn basic task. and now they rebranding it with this cyborg name!

I saw the prestige at ces and was very impressed by the look and feel. The hinge was especially great and nailed 1 finger opening!

If the 13 inch had a phoenix chip in it and the 2560x1600 165hz panel that the 2023 x13 uses it would have been quite good.
