I recall some sort of weird interaction with Luigi's Final Smash where the knockback of the final smash was actually stored when someone jumps infront of a launched player. Maybe it was patched

I remember it being a glitch that worked both on the Wii U and 3DS with ness doing pk thunder right at the same time Luigi starts his final smash. It made not stop ejecting out of the final smash. HERES THE ODDITY ABOUT THIS: in SSBU, if you attempt the glitch here instead of an infinite it make Luigi do one EXTRA pump before sending everything off.

With Luigi’s final smash doing a base set of damage no matter when you’re pulled in, it makes me wonder if Zelda’s final smash does the same… I’ll have to test that sometime

it sends people farther because the launched player gets pushed through the third players hurtbox. you can see examples of this by rolling or running into pacman hydrant then running out.

The attacked doesnt catch exactly below luigi, so if you posicionate yourself under the luigi the Final smash is not going to hit you
