My boyfriend’s best friend is his ex-wife. I moved in with them while they were still technically married. She had a boyfriend that lived there as well. It worked for us!! Plus, there was always someone there to watch their daughter.

The Segrest family is an example of how families should be when marriages don't work out! The children always benefit when their parents get along. And how wonderful their kids have 2 sets of parents that love them when some kids don't even have 1 parent that loves them. Good for them for having a good relationship through it all! It's always a plus when mom and stepmom get along, and dad and stepdad get along.

I am kinda curious though: was Scott already Dow's best friend while he was still married to Erin, or did Dow and Scott become best friends when Scott married Erin? I wonder lol
