Ex-CM Of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat Speaks Exclusively Speaks To Times Now On Haldwani Case

Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Harish Rawat, speaks exclusively with Times Now while the SC is hearing the Haldwani land encroachment case. Mr. Rawat is hopeful after the judgement by the Supreme Court. He said that South Carolina will definitely be in the favour of the people living there. The previous day, the former CM organised a candle march in protest of the encroachment on land that more than 4,000 people call home. Terming Uttarakhand to be a spiritual state, he said, "If 50,000–55,000 people, including children, pregnant women, and old men and women, are forced to vacate their homes and come out on the roads, then it would be a very sad sight."
