Chris is afraid of birds, Craig is afraid of dogs, Mick is afraid of that one scene in Poltergeist, Corey and Jim hate explosions.

The deaths were based on their real fears

There is a behind the scenes video where shawn (Clown) explains what the video is about and that each member decides how they want to die. My favorite is when Chris said birds because he is actually afraid of birds lol.

I don’t know if you noticed, but in every death scene, they’re wearing masks from the previous tour. Symbolizing the death of the old versions of themselves

Out of all their songs, this one is the one I relate to the most and it's gotten me out of a few bad situations in my life. This is straight from Corey's mouth: "The Devil In I' is really about the war inside yourself, " he said. "Trying not to give into defeatism, trying not to give into negativity, trying not to give up basically. It's a struggle. It's one of the hardest thing you can do, is to give in to that side of yourself."

One of the greatest songs ever created by Slipknot! Brilliant

I love how dark they go. The visuals are always on point. Did you catch who the two wheelchair pincushions were? The two newbs! Alessandro Venturella on bass (previously the guitarist of Cry for Silence) and Jay Weinberg on drums (previously from The Reveling, Against Me! and the son of American drummer Max Weinberg of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band). I love fun facts.

This is probably the most powerful Slipknot song ever recorded, not for the music itself...but the lyrics and music video. Amazing Analysis of the song ❤

This is one of my all time favorite slipknot songs to hear and play. I didn't know that they all decided their own death style based on real life worst fears. It seemed to represent the old slipknot falling away and the new form rising up after with the 2 new guys stepping in to fill in the voids left after the departure of 2 original members. They come back with new jumpsuits, masks, somewhat different sound, different visuals and even new instruments. This is where Jim switches from the telecaster style to the new jazzmaster style and Mick from his B.C. Rich and Ilbanez to his new Jackson soloist.
RIP Paul and Joey

I absolutely love how, watching Ray's first Slipknot reaction video, she was super shocked and almost scared it appeared. Whereas several slipknot reviews later she's right into it! Its Great!

As others states, in a behind the scenes for this video, Clown stated these deaths are based on how they wouldn't want to die.

Good reaction!

In this video Slipknot already have their new bassist and drummer. We miss Paul and Joey still. R.I.P

Fun fact: the current drummer is the son of Max Weinberg, the guy who drummed for and led Conan O'Brien's band (and Bruce Springsteen lmao). He's got a YouTube channel here (Jay Weinberg) and he has a ton of Drum Cams from live shows.

You made great observations, I've known the music for years and missed some of them.

I love this slipknot song. I’ve always found it so hard yet so sonicly pleasing. But the video is definitely a distraction for new listeners. Live, it’s so dope. Clown throws down on a keg, and it just gets you pumped.

I wanna see her react to some old school Slipknot such as SIC, Wait and Bleed, Spit it Out, and Eyeless! That album in 1998 was so damn good! It is what has made me a forever fan of them
