As I've said before: Cap the gas, water, and sewer, demolish the entire home and foundation, fill-in the basement excavation, and sell the bare lot. Then build new from the dirt up. No park, no memorial, no teddy bears or plastic spinners, and no wooden crosses or sky blue Madonnas. Give the neighborhood back to the neighbors and let some semblance of normalcy return to the street. This was done with Gacy's house and it is no longer a tourist 'must see.'

Based on videos I have seen the house was completely creepy. I could feel how bad the energy of the house was just from looking at the video the entire Construction had a very bad energy the layout of the house is Caverness and bizarre.

I did not get any warm and fuzzy feelings by looking at the interior of the house it was cold absolutely too big the ceilings of the living room went way up but yet the living room looked so dark as well as most of the other rooms in the house.

I feel bad for the neighbors and everyone on the block that have to drive by that house that is now most likely in complete and total disrepair. It must be a complete eyesore on the block. Not to mention a total reminder of the entire wretched incident.

The Rzuceks placed the lien on the home to prevent CW from profiting on the sale of the home since it's still in his name, despite it being foreclosed on. The house is valued on Zillow at nearly $800K, double what Chris and Shan'ann bought it for. I doubt the Rzuceks would expect any buyer to pay that kind of money on it; possibly the proceeds from the sale would go to them, rather than the bank. Not sure how that would work. But a memorial park is a bad idea. It would still bring unwanted attention to the neighborhood, and the house needs to be LIVED in again. A new coat of paint, new landscaping, a new house number- anything so it no longer looks like 'the Watts Murder House'. Homes where murders took place aren't automatically torn down and memorials built in their place. Nicole Brown Simpson's condo was renumbered and lived in; someone lives in Scott and Laci Peterson's home; even the infamous Amityville house, where the entire DeFeo family was murdered, is a private residence. The house on Saratoga Trail can be filled with children's laughter, cooking smells and love once again- and it deserves to be.

Apart from the Watt's case, I was wondering myself what is the point with those expensive pretentious houses, with no gardens and no space from your neighbors ? it is a living hell to me, and I would prefer an apartment in a big town .. or a house in the country with a garden and far from others

I wish a realtor could explain how it is that Chris Watts still owns this house? After all if theres no payments being made then it should be into foreclosure and taken over by the bank as owners. Unless theres something in the Watts home insurance plan should a spouse pass away. Again, this was murder not normal circumstances. I must read up on insurance being I'm guessing that's how Chris is still owner of this house. You learn something new everyday.

The only way this house is going to be purchased is if the $6 million dollar lean is removed. If that doesn’t happen it will to stay empty for many decades until it falls into disrepair and then possibly even torn down because of safety issues.

The house can only remain vacant for a certain amount of time before things start to fall into disrepair. Beautiful home in a gorgeous location of the United States of America but I don’t think anyone is going to pay what is being asked here it’s not realistic.

Hoa should just forgive the money owed to them. The house should be sold for the minimum owed on it and the money given to Shaneen's parents. This is a terrible situation and money grubbers should just stay out of it.

I think the idea of a memorial park would be nice. I remember in the Chesire Murders that's what they did. Also the neighbors are having a hard time with people taking photos & breaking in. If there is no park, settle everything, renovate the outside, paint new color, so it doesn't look the same way. It doesn't do the victims, their families, or the neighbors who assisted the police any good for it to remain the way it is. It's so very sad what happened. I feel the Chris Watts is a monster!
