Find your raison d'etre- Michael video blog from Paris

My A la minute interview with Ali, an entrepreneur who runs his own creperie called "Creperie du montivy" in Montparnasse, Paris. A perfect example of finding your passion. His smile and positivity had me back in the restaurant for the 2nd time in 3 days inspite of being in the culinary capital of the world. His raison d'etre- "Passion! The main ingredient is love, I love what I do, I wake up in the morning happy and I go to bed at night because tourists in the city for 3 days visit me more than once! When you love what you do, customers see it and its easy to make them happy, because you are happy"... Simple yet powerful

Got me thinking that being in a career we don't love with all our heart is the same as being in a loveless marriage. .. there can be only 2 outcomes... you stay miserable, or you get a divorce. Either way you lose! And sure, very few people straightaway know what they were born to doand most are in jobs they are not completely fulfilled by. My advice to you after meeting Ali and so many more like him, ... Find your passion, its like finding your perfect partner, and then love it with all your heart, and dedicate time, care, and attention to it and the results are unparalleled! And if you haven't found it yet, keep looking , like in all things, we need to experience the bad to know what the good feels like! We need to work the crappy jobs, so we'll appreciate the good ones, we need to work with some terrible bosses, so we'll know when we're truly inspired.
