I can’t thank you enough for these wonderful demonstrations, you’re one of the best online instructors on YouTube. 🙏

Love all your forms videos!!!! i was never really a fan of the Sine Wave motion for the couple of months I did TKD. What belt level is this form?

jalyn, i did a bit of karate when i was younger than i am now. i got to yellow belt. Anyway the point is this, namely that the taekwondo kata you've just demostrated is similar to a karate kata.

Thank you for not using sine wave. It is a bunch of non sense. Not only does it "telegraph" ones move it slows down the execution of the technique. From a physics stand point, there is no way that bobbing up and down vertically will add power or force to a technique delivered horizontally. Force = speed + mass. Sine wave movement ruins the beauty of the Chong Hon hyungs.

Acch, Jalyn. The term is akin to DC Comics, aka Detective Comics Comics. The the correct term is either a bo (Okinwawan, NOT Japanese term) for staff and not bo staff or the Korean equivalent being choong (NOT a J sound just as the form in this video is pronounced Choong Gun) bong (o-sound and not an awe sound).
